Save the Bay
Holiday Gift Wrapping
Sat., Dec. 17th and Sun., Dec 18th
Save The Bay and REI, a supporter of the Save the Bay Volunteer Program, are partnering for a holiday gift wrapping event at the Cranston. Save the Bay volunteers will be wrapping presents for shoppers and spreading a little holiday cheer! In exchange for the service, Save the Bay will receive the proceeds from the holiday wrapping. The funds will help support Save the Bay's many programs. REI recently awarded Save the Bay with a grant for our Community Cleanup and Storm Drain Marking Programs for the 2012 season. Come join the JAYCEES to collect boxes of toys, games and appropriate unwrapped gifts from toddlers to teens as they will be distributed to needed children across Rhode Island. East Bay Food Pantry Giving Tree Needs You!
The East Bay Food Pantry (www.eastbayfoodpantry.org) is in need of assistance with their annual giving tree program. You can get a gift tag at The Toy Store on Hope Street or Just Ducky on Good Avenue, both in Bristol. The East Bay Food Pantry serves over 900 households in the East Bay and operates the Stone Soup Thrift Shop. Help them make the holidays brighter for our neighbors!

AS220 Providence Rhode Island
There are several internship opportunities at AS220 for undergrad and graduate students. At the moment they are looking for interns for several of their departments, including Systems Administration. As a recognized non-profit arts organization in Rhode Island, AS220 is sure that this experience will benefit students in multiple levels. It’s also a great way to plug into the community and gain valuable job experience. Interns can also apply for a stipend through Rhode Island Campus compact.
