The RWU Intercultural Center (IC) - located at the north end of Maple Hall - offers an atmosphere to support, respect and celebrate the multiplicity of the RWU community including, but not limited to, diversity of culture, nationality, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, gender, and physical ability.
The Intercultural Center, known as a "home away from home" for many, houses International and Multicultural Student Affairs, International Student Services, Bridge to Success, LGBTQ&Q Student Advocacy and Spiritual Life.
The IC reflects multiculturalism through its staff, resources, literature, and décor and provides support to increasing the diversity of the Roger Williams University community. Furthermore, the Intercultural Center provides a relaxing space for international students and students of color, as well as the entire Roger Williams University family.
In addition, a multi-purpose lounge for students to unwind in between classes, or gather for meetings and programs, the IC offers students a comfortable place to be who they are. The multi-faceted purposes of the lounge offers great opportunities to make new friends, study, relax, socialize, and get involved.
The Center also has a prayer corner, a kitchen for meal preparation, a computer lab and television. The Center is open daily from 5:00am - 9:00pm. For more information on the center and its programs call (401) 254-3121 to contact the Intercultural Center.
